Step 1
Mount the QT2 on the bat pins just like any throwing bat.
Place your piece to be trimmed on center
using the concentric rings as your reference. |

Push the 2 holders inward and simultaneously tighten. |

Rotate the QT2 90 degrees. |

The Bailey Quick Trim II is more versatile than ever! With the Quick-Trim II™, it's easy and fast to make organic shaped pots, with altered or multi-sided forms - Round, Oblong, Squared, Multisided, Free Formed, Tall Forms - this device will accept virtually any shape or form; something other centering devices cannot do.
The Medium is the standard size with a diameter of 15.5".
Designed specifically for the Artisa and all wheels with either 9" or 10" bat pins. The outer diameter of the Medium size is 15.5" and it can secure a form with a diameter of 11 3/4" diameter using the (4) 1" holders with dense foam and vinyl covers. Assembly required.
The Medium has 10" hole centers for bat pins to fit on the wheel head. For customers that own old wheels with 9" bat pin centers, there are predrilled "starter" holes on the underside that can be drilled through for mounting.
It's affordable
The Quick-Trim II™ has a very economical price, making it very attractive for beginning potters as well as professionals.
The Quick-Trim II™ has the advantage of four(4) holders for securing pots.
- Fast independent adjustment of every holder against any type of pottery shape.
- Holding multi-sided forms.
- Holding artistically organic or "asymmetrical" pottery forms.
- Superior holding power by applying "equalized" holder pressure from opposite sides of the pot.
- Each unit can run in either clockwise or counter-clockwise directions.
Itβs a very fast process, taking only 7 seconds to secure a pot for trimming.
There are four(4) additional heights of optional holders which can be purchased separately(See Below).
The Optional Quick-Trim II High Holders are made of rigid 1/8" thick aluminum x 1" wide for strong holding power. Each has a dense foam core covered by a contamination proof vinyl cover. These High Holders will reduce the diameter size of the piece that can be held by the Quick-Trim II. Knobs are not included since they are already a part of the Quick-Trim II. |
